2009 Invictas Schedule

The Invictas Head South in their Big Caddy Hearse to Rock Florida!

• Saturday March 28, 2009 The Invictas will rock The Villages at The Lake Sumter Market Square.

The Villages is described as America's Friendliest Hometown. Over 70,000 baby boomers and retirees live and play there. They have their own bars, restaurants and shopping, and people receive free golf for life. This place is great. People don't need a car, they drive their golf carts to wherever they want to go. It's a very impressive fun community and free golf is included.

The Invictas will take the stage at the Lake Sumter Market Square on Saturday March 28th, 2009 from 5pm till 9pm.

• Sunday March 29th, 2009 The Invictas aim their Big Caddy Hearse towards Tampa to rock the crowd at The Famous Oldsmar Days Festival in Oldsmar, Florida. Oldsmar is located just north of the Tampa, St. Pete and Clearwater area.

This festival has classic cars, classic rock 'n roll and draws a crowd of some 14,000 people. The Invictas Rock Till Ya Drop Tour will end the festival on a high note. They will take the stage from 3:45pm till 5pm to wrap up the excitement at the festival. The Invictas promise a 60's rock 'n roll party unlike anything Oldsmar has ever seen.

The Invictas were a hit in Florida. Several thousand people rocked to the wild sound of The Invictas at The Villages near Ocala Florida and at The Oldsmar Classic Rock Festival near Tampa. Will The Invictas return to Florida? You bet we will! We can't wait.

• Sunday June 21, 2009 - The Invictas will rock from 5pm till 9pm at Rochester NY's favorite restaurant and tavern on Lake Ontario "The Pelican's Nest" located at 566 River Road in Rochester, NY. This is the same location where The TODAY SHOW filmed The Invictas and interviewed some of the band's fans.
The Pelican's Nest is known for having a great party atmosphere and there's lots of room to dance . This is one of the few public engagements The Invictas have in the Rochester area, so bring your friends and have fun.

• Saturday July 18, 2009 - The Invictas are proud to rock the Irondequoit High Class of 1974 Reunion Party. People from all over the country will return to see their classmates and The Invictas were a favorite band of the time. The private party will happen at the Kusak Lodge at Camp Eastman in Irondequoit, NY. from 6pm till 9pm. The Invictas have played for several high school reunion parties and everyone has had a great time.

• OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! Friday July 24, 7-10 PM- 2009, The Invictas will rock the crowd at the Rush Henrietta Class of 69 reunion party. The event will be held at the Rush Henrietta Creekside Inn at 6071 E. Henrietta Rd. in Rush, N.Y. This event promises to be a great party and The Invictas will bring the crowd's favorite songs from the 60's and 70's. Get ready to dance to songs like: Twist and Shout, I Can't Get No Satisfaction, What'd I Say, Land of 1000 Dances and of course The Invictas will get the crowd going with their hit song and dance "The Hump." There will even be a Hump dance contest and that guarantees to be a blast. Get ready to party and dance Friday, July 24th at The Rush Henrietta Creedside Inn.

• OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! Saturday September 12th, 2009, The Invictas will be at The Pittsford Celebrates Festival. Every year the town of Pittsford, NY (outside Rochester, NY) celebrates the end of summer with a huge festival. There's music, arts, and fun for the entire family. Thousands of people attend this event every year and The Invictas will rock the crowd from 3:30 till 5 PM on the stage behind the library located at 24 State Street. Then at 9PM, the fireworks start, so don't miss out on the fun. Get ready to rock and have fun with The Invictas at The Pittsford Celebrates Festival.

Some trivia:
The name The Invictas was due to a brain storming session Herb had with friends at RIT. The band needed a new name and The Invictas was mentioned because Buick had a car out called The Invicta. Today, Buick has developed a prototype called The Invicta. Who knows, maybe there will be a new car called The Invicta. It's a sleek looking design.
